Happy Spring, Hokies! Dottie again.
The weather has been gorgeous recently! Now is the BEST time to get outside and explore. Here a few things on my bucket list for this season in Blacksburg:
Hahn Horticulture Garden at Virginia Tech
The garden spreads over six acres of land! The landscape is beautiful featuring decks, bridges, and walls constructed by the Landscape Construction Classes. The garden is full of plants from around the world.
Bring your family, friends, and even pets to Rising Silo! Live music happens every weekend. Enjoy local brews and a farm-to-table menu from the restaurant.
Coal Mining Heritage Park
The trail was built in 2010 to honor the history of the local coal mining between Blacksburg and Christiansburg. The trail intersects with the Huckleberry Trail, so you are in for a nice long walk or bike ride!
Enjoy the weather by hitting balls at the driving range or playing mini golf! There are also batting cages open for those who aren’t the greatest at golf.
Get outside and smell the roses!
